Another milestone at Dodge Ski Boots today.
We moved the last of the equipment from our original location (Bill’s barn behind his house in Essex, VT) to our new location at 5B David Drive Essex, VT. Since the machinery that was left was pretty heavy, we hired a professional crew to handle the move.
They arrived at 7:45 AM and by 8:30, the trucks were headed down the road with our laser, molding press, work tables, air compressor, shelving and molds.
By 9:15, everything was off-loaded, put into place at our new location and the crew was on their way.
Wow!
The balance of the day was been filled with sorting through the small stuff, trips to the dump with old “crap”, and moving the little things the rigging crew didn’t handle.
Looks like Bill has a busy weekend cleaning up the mess that was left behind after nearly 6 years of making ski boots in his barn. It is certainly going to be strange to walk into the barn and see it so empty after all these years.
But, Bill’s wife Bonnie has already laid claim to the space so it won’t be empty for too long.
