Sunday’s NOR-AM Super G at Copper Mountain, CO certainly made some of the younger racers pretty happy.  (Congratulations to U18 racer Jack Auty on his spectacular win. Details about the race are captured in Tucker Marshall’s well-written blog posting.)

The guys skiing on DODGE carbon fiber ski boots all had personal best FIS point results so you know they’re happy.

NICK VETH was the U18 runner-up, finishing 21st overall and scoring a 29-point race, which is 17 points better than his next-best result.

KENNY WILSON was the highest-placed `94 from the USA.  His charge from a 95th starting position to a 25th place finish earned him a 31-point race, more than 23 points better than his next-best result.

Tech specialist TY SPROCK’s 45-point finish was an 18 point improvement over his next best result.

And, New Zealander FINLAY NEESON 52-point finish was more than 11 points better than his next-best result in Super G.

Well done lads.  Keep up the good work.

Bill
