A member of the family gets “re-booted”

Ace Tarberry came to the Dodge Ski Boots factory today to update his Dodge carbon fiber ski boots.

Longtime readers will remember Ace as one of the early racers to join the Dodge Ski Boots family back in 2010.  After first trying the boots in La Parva, Chile, Ace sufficiently impressed US Ski Team coaches with his performances to be named to the team.  (Ace is holding his boot from 2010 in his left hand.)

In fact, when Ace switched to Dodge Boots, he improved his world ranking in GS from 206 to 102 and his Super G ranking from 215 to 100!

Unfortunately for Ace, the coaches then made him switch off the Dodge Boots and his performances suffered, dropping his world ranking in GS back to 142 and his Super G ranking back to 140!

But, Ace has never stopped being a member of our “family”, even when he wasn’t allowed to ski on our boots.

So, we’re really happy to have him get onto the newest model.  Look for Ace on the hill in the Mount Washington Valley.
