CODY PUTRE, a J1 skiing for Cochran’s is pretty amazing.

Cody skied in his first-ever FIS races yesterday and today at Waterville Valley and did some incredible mathematics.  How’s that?

Well, Cody woke up yesterday with the maximum 990 FIS-point handicap.  He pulled on bib #119, pushed out of the start at the FIS Development Series Slalom and promptly skied to 14th place in the first run!  That’s a 105 spot improvement folks.  He had a little trouble in the second run but still wound up in 43rd spot, a 67 spot improvement.  And, he earned 111.65 FIS points.

Today, Cody started # 115 and skied to 6th in the first run.  He smoked it in the second run, finishing 2nd for an overall placing of 3rd!  Folks, that’s a podium in only his 2nd FIS race!  And, with a 68.15 FIS point result, you know Cody’s going to be looking at much better starting spots as soon as the next point list is released.

Dave & I are really happy for Cody, for coach Elliott Wilkinson-Ray and Cochran’s Ski Club. And, we’re proud to have Cody and Elliott skiing on DODGE carbon fiber ski boots.
