I got out today on a pair of all-mountain skis with an 88 mm waist.  For me, being used to a SL or GS ski, that’s fat.  Looking at the width, compared to the 68 mm width of my boot sole, I was concerned about trying to tip the ski on edge.

But, my DODGE carbon fiber ski boots were more than up to the task.

I had no problems tipping the ski on edge and being able to really lay into it on some of the ice that appeared late morning.    I know I would’t be saying the same thing if I had on traditional “rubber” boots!

The moral?  If you want to carve fat skis, you’d better have DODGE Ski Boots!!
