TY SPROCK and NICK VETH owned the top steps of the J-2 podium at this weekend’s Snow King FIS Giant Slalom in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
On Saturday, Nick was the top finishing J-2, posting a career-best 44.14 FIS point race. Ty nipped at his heels, finishing right behind Nick as the second-fastest J-2.
The boys must’ve made a deal overnight as on Sunday they exchanged steps on the podium with Ty claiming the top step and Nick taking the second step.
Ty posted his career-best result, getting a strong 38.63 FIS point and placing 6th overall. Expect to see Ty’s points improve by 10-12 % on the next FIS list.
Not to be outdone, Nick backed up Saturday’s result with a 45.43 FIS point finish, which should see his points improve by over 25% on the next point list! Keep an eye on these two racers.
First-year J-2 racer ADDISON DVORACEK, in only his sixth and seventh FIS giant slalom starts once again posted results that are sending a message that he’s a forced to be reckoned with. On Saturday, Addison was the fourth-finishing J-2 with a 55.43 point race and on Sunday he backed that up with a solid 59.30 point race. Those results should see his points improve by nearly 20% on the next list.
DODGE Ski Boots were well represented in the rest of the field with New Zealander FINLAY NEESON posting a nice result on Sunday that will improve his points.
KENNY WILSON and DEVIN DAVIS rounded out the DODGE SKI BOOTS contingent.
Congratulations to the guys and their coaches.
