coach Sean McKenna, winner Warner Nickerson, Dodge Ski Boots' Bill Doble after Warner won the ANC GS at Coronet Peak, New Zealand

A huge congratulations and thanks to DODGE Ski Boots racer extraordinaire Warner Nickerson on winning the ANC GS at Coronet Peak today.  This was no small time feat as he beat out Ted Ligety, Bode Miller, Felix Neureuther and other strong competitors to secure a 6 FIS point race and some good bragging rights.

DODGE carbon fiber ski boots beat the world's best

I’m really happy for him and for DODGE Ski Boots.  It’s a big confirmation that Warner and Dodge are the real deal, not some flash in the pan.  It certainly has set some tongues wagging!

We have a couple more guys that are making the switch to DODGE, and a couple of gals that might be joining the fold.  Can name them, but their credentials are pretty solid.

The new 2010 boot is really working well.  Warner has found the revised last fits great; the new cuff material conforms nicely, our new liner feels terrific, and our new DODGE sole plates are looking sweet.  In addition, we’re getting some super on-snow tests of how the boot reacts to different changes in cuff angle, buckle tension, changing the stiffness, and more.

The scoreboard at Coronet Peak tell it all. Warner Nickerson on DODGE Ski Boots beat `em all!

Think I’m liking New Zealand pretty well.

More later.

Bill
