We had a good day at Vail (again).  Cold morning but the sun came out and made it spectacular.  Good training conditions.  Lots of racers on the hill, including Lindsey Vonn, Maria Riesch, Anja Paerson and more.

The hill is getting harder and slicker, which is great for testing more things with the DODGE Ski Boot.  Dave & I are feeling good about the changes we made the other day with Harald Harb.  Dave found so much more power in his boots that he actually pre-released from his bindings!

We had a couple of coaches trying the boot today.  Greg Needell and Ryan Shorter from Mission Ridge gave the boots a try and were very enthusiastic about them.  It’s great for coaches to try the new technology so they can have a first-hand understanding of how it might benefit their racers.  Thanks guys!

Also had the chance to meet another DODGE Ski Boot racer.  Scott Hauser, who skis for St. Lawrence University, purchased a pair a few weeks ago from PJ Dewey at Race Stock Sports in Waterbury, VT.

Scott is really pleased with his boots and looking forward to great success with them.

Funny thing about Scott:  He was in a first year seminar class “Intro to Canada” with my son John!  Small world, huh?

Go fast and kick ass Scott!

Great to see John Jacobs from Reliable Racing.  John and I go way back and it’s always fun to swap lies with him.  John is here with his son Jake, who also tried the DODGE boots today.

Gotta go.  Up really early (even for me) so we can be on the hill in Winter Park with the UVM team at 7 AM.

More later.

Bill
