It has been a busy couple of weeks as we’ve been getting boots built for racers headed to Norway and Mt. Hood.
Here is a photo of the cuffs lined up after assembly. The next step is to attach all the buckles and buckle catches, then mate them to the lowers and do the final assembly.
There is quite a bit of hand work involved, but it’s something that feels good when we have the boots all done and ready to go. How many people can say they have had a hand in every product that has gone out their door?
So when they are completed and our “babies” are ready to go out into the world, it’s an exciting occasion. Here they are all lined up for “graduation”. Some are going to Norway; some to Hood; and one pair even has plans for New Zealand!
