Dave is getting really antsy waiting for snow. Just got back from a “hard” day of curling in Quebec yesterday afternoon, laid down for a NASCAR nap, and the phone rings. It’s Dave in the shop working on our new plastic welder. Drag my tired butt off the couch and out there with him for a while. Never a day off at Dodge Ski Boots!
John calls at about 8 PM from the hockey rink. “Dad, can you take me to the Emergency Room to get some stitches. I got hit by a puck in the ear.” 2 hours, 5 stitches and a few ‘I told you so’s’ later I finally get back and crawl into bed.
Never did get a nap.
Back at it today.
