SKI BACKGROUND:
My love for skiing started before I could really walk and after feeling the exhilaration and wind in my face, I was hooked for life. It’s been a hell of a ride with awesome days of perfectly groomed pistes, killer events, great friendships, and some solid parties. The highlight of this ride was probably winning the RedBull Homerun back in 2014 in Are, Sweden or competing in World Championships for the USA in GS in 2011. But any day on snow is a good one!

Gunstock, Sun Valley, Patscherkofel, Are, Stowe, Beaver Creek, Alta Badia, Dolimite Super Ski, Val D’Isere are my current favs.

HOW I LIKE TO SKI:
You might think I’m crazy, but I prefer to ski on hard well-groomed slopes. I dig powder here and there; but for me, there is nothing more exhilarating than snapping off nasty GS turns on boilerplate conditions.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IN MY SKIING/EQUIPMENT:
I am looking for anything that will make my time on the slopes more enjoyable. For me, it is creating a ski and boot set up that makes you feel like you’re driving stolen racecar. That’s what I’m constantly searching for in equipment.
FUNNIEST/MOST INTERESTING SKI EXPERIENCE:
Starting 44th in an Aspen downhill, when the racer before me said, “Dude, you just won! Did you miss any gates?” I thought for a second and said, “I don’t think so.” It was my first FIS victory and one entertaining day.
MOST INTERESTING SKIER I KNOW/ WHO I’D LIKE TO SKI WITH MOST:
Daron Rahlves because he’s in his mid 40’s and still has every ounce of intensity – and maybe more than – a rockstar 20 year old racer.
WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT DODGE SKI BOOTS:
