Ty started skiing on DODGEs this summer in New Zealand, where he opened his FIS career with a couple of slaloms resulting in 75.93 FIS points and an 80 point GS race. Yesterday he topped that with an 8th place, 51.78 FIS point race at Snow King in Wyoming, which included a very strong 2nd run only 14/100ths off the leader (and Nor-Am racer) Mark Engel, and 9/100ths behind fellow DODGE Ski Boot racer and Nor-Am skier Charles Christianson.

Ty is 5th ranked in the World(!) for his age in slalom on the most recent FIS Points list, and this most recent result will surely bump up his GS ranking to the world ranking in the Top 10 or even higher.  Way to go Ty!

DODGE Ski Boots are being worn by an increasing number of racers, from World Cup skiers to Masters racers to Nor-Am racers to Junior racers to collegiate racers. We’ll try to update you on results during the season.

In the meantime, time to make more boots!
