002When the sun is shining like it has been this weekend, you can’t help but have a smile on your face.

The weather has been very strange for Spring skiing.   Temps are starting out in the low teens and even high single digits and even through the day, it doesn’t get much more than mid 20s.005

So, instead of corn snow, we’re stuck with awesome mid Winter snow that is as fine as we’ve seen all year.  And, when it’s like this, the off-piste corridors are packed.

A couple of favorite spots at Stowe are the “Kitchen Wall”  (below the cliffs between the top of the gondola and the Nosedive) and the Chin on top of the mountain.

Sure enough, you’ll see lots of Dodge carbon fiber ski boots in both places.
