Woke up the day before Thanksgiving to snow, cold and high winds. What to do? Of course, drive over mountain passes to a ski area!
We left at 6:15 AM, drove about an hour to Winter Park to meet with the UVM Ski Team. Meg Ryley has been getting used to her DODGE Ski Boots. Jonathan Nordbotten started testing them a couple of days ago. And today, Travis Dawson and Kevin Drury got on them.
The snow wasn’t conducive to good testing, so they’ll be on them again tomorrow.
In the meantime, here’s a little clip of our drive leading up to Berthoud Pass.
