DODGE Ski Boot racer WARNER NICKERSON came by the Dodge Ski Boots shop to get ready for skiing this summer in New Zealand. It’s always great to see Captain Awesome and today didn’t disappoint.
As many of you know, Warner has been trying to repair and rehab a bum back, suffered last November at Vail. He missed all of last season and took an injury year to freeze his FIS points and retain his World Cup starting position.
After lots of work, Warner says he’s feeling confident he’ll be in skiing shape by the August season in New Zealand. So, Warner made the trip from New Hampshire to our shops with fellow DODGE Ski Boot aficionado JEFF KIRCHHOFF to get some new footbeds.
Bonnie was challenged to feed Warner this trip as he is in Day 3 of his liquid fruit and veggie “cleansing” diet. But, always up to the task, she found something for Warner and, better still, provided me, Dave and Jeff with some great chicken salad. So Warner didn’t feel left out, we had some liquid grains with lunch which were really fine, too.
Good to see Jeff and his nice new-to-him Audi TT. Fun little car that Jeff is going to a good time taking to the track.
