Our good friend Marc Girardelli has a client who wanted a really special pair of ski boots.
Of course Marc used the Dodge-exclusive 3D Fitting System to get the perfect fit. We custom fit the boots for the customer in Switzerland and had his boots on the way in a couple of days.
And, with the Dodge Ski boot being the world’s high-performance carbon fiber composite ski boot he truly had a special boot, right?
Well, this skier wanted something no one else has: a crocodile skin ski boot!
When Marc told me this I thought he was joking. After all, Marc (besides being a terrific guy) has a great sense of humor! I jokingly responded to Marc that we couldn’t do a crocodile boot because it’s winter and all the crocodiles are in hibernation!
Imagine my surprise and laughter when Marc sent me this photo of, yes, a crocodile skin Dodge Ski Boot!
Seems Marc has a shoemaker friend who was up to the challenge of covering the Dodge Boot with crocodile skin. And what a job he did!
