What I Like Best About My Dodge Ski Boots:

I am a 56 year old lawyer and ski enthusiast . I have raced as a teenager and am currently doing masters racing series. I have also tried my hand at getting my CSCF coaching levels and passed my level two coaches certification and recently passed my level four CSIA teaching and pedagogy exams . I ski about seventy days a year and have tried a plethora of equipment over the years. When my friend and coach suggested I try the Dodge Ski boots I was very skeptical. That skepticism vanished when I finally got my boots . They have really improved my skiing. I have noticed a number of important features that have really have allowed me to get much better edge grip at the top of the arc. The boots are amazingly light and yet provide tremendous lateral stiffness that allows me really stand and stack my body over the tipped outside ski with incredible control. What is very important for me as I continue this year to strive to pass the skiing portion of my level four is to have a boot that can give me predictable lateral support and at the same time allow me to flex my ankle joint to ski bumps and varied terrain that is also a part of my ski test . These boots do it all and moreover the flex does not change whether it is cold or a warmer day because of the material. Finally, because of the closer shell fit and the vibration dampening characteristics the boots exhibit I have much better connection with my skis and my over all snow feel has improved . The key to a great turn is at the transition phase to be able to soften the inside ski at the top of the arc to allow the power and weight transfer to happen naturally as opposed to jamming on the power . To accomplish this you need to start the turn with important and subtle movements with the feet . These boots have given me that ability which I never had before to feel my feet and thus have the capacity to tip the ski earlier and build up pressure in the arc earlier and then allow the end of the turn to release the pressure across the fall line to start the process all over again . I just finished our annual ski conference today and people were asking what I did to improve my skiing and then they looked at what was on my feet and the answer was obvious .

What I Would Tell Someone Considering A Purchase Of Dodge Ski Boots:
