Welcome to “Chairlift Chats”

You never know who you might meet on the chairlift and what you might talk about.

This chairlift chat with John Jacobs discusses the history, love, determination, and evolution of Reliable Racing from 1962 to today.   John’s parents Tom and Marilyn Jacobs founded Reliable Racing in 1962 and in 2002 John Jacobs took over as President.

The name was coined when one of the first customers said, “You guys sure are reliable, who should I make the check out to?”

Reliable Racing was the first vendor on the east coast to sell bibs, break-a-way gates, and other skiing related gear to clubs and customers. They were also the first direct mail catalog service for the ski industry.  Check out this video to learn more!
