Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.  It was great at our house with Ellen home from Maine and John home from South Carolina.  Wonderful with Bonnie’s family, especially the annual Yankee Swap on Christmas Day.

While it’s been great being with family,  the lack of snow and cold weather isn’t so great.  It rained last night at the shop, with warm temps this morning as I headed out to play hockey, but the temperature has been dropping and it’s now hovering right the freezing, with occasional flurries.  My guess is it’s okay in the mountains.

Have you been reading Warner Nickerson’s blog ?  How `bout Charles Christianson’s ?  I think they’re a hoot. Warner visited yesterday and regaled us with his stories of using Charles’ car over lunch, then, lo and behold, Charles posted his blog update.  It’s a must read.

It was fun for Warner and my son John to finally meet. I think they may be planning a little road action which could be good for some stories, too.

Congratulations to Roger Brown.  I hope the rain didn’t put too much of a damper on the wedding celebration yesterday.

Dave & I were busy last week finishing up lots of boots.  So now it’s a matter of shipping out the re-orders and new sales. C’mon boys and girls, spend some of that Christmas cash on real carbon stuff!

We’re looking forward to being at the Dartmouth Skiway on Friday with the Ford-Sayre kids. We’ll be back in time Friday to be at Cochran’s for their J1/2 race where we expect to see some of our DODGE Ski Boot racers from the Rocky Mountain Division making an appearance.  Look for us there.

Then it’s over to Waterville Valley on Monday & Tuesday with Leigh Quinn, Dave Wolff and the “older” kids (AKA the Masters).

Give us a shout if you want to get on some demo boots.

Later.

Bill
