After getting fooled by forecasters about the “BIG” April 1st snowstorm, (non-existent … a dud), the sun is trying to peek through the clouds and it might just turn out to be a good day for the first day of the weekend-long Stowe Sugar Slalom.  Held every year since 1940, this is the annual rite of Winter passing into Spring.  Let’s see who has the wildest costume and if the weather cooperates!

I’ll head up there with some DODGE carbon fiber ski boots for people hoping to give them a go.

Then, maybe a stop at the Cochran sugarhouse for a quart of their Slopeside Syrup.

More later.
