Dave & I have been making lots of Dodge Ski Boot carbon fiber parts and, being anxious for winter, we’re trying on boots and researching/playing.

I intially thought I’d be skiing on a 275mm shell as I wear a size 10 1/2 shoe and my old, old boots are 28.5s.  But, using a lace-up race liner, I find I am far more comfortable in a 265 shell.  Good fit, good geometry for my foot, and the sole length is shorter.  Something to keep in mind for those of you used to skiing in a 27.5 or larger boot.

Also keep in mind that a good, custom footbed will definitely make it easier to be in a smaller boot.

Do get too wet in the rain today.

Bill
